I've been inflicting my 'hey check this out' missives on a select group of friends and colleagues for more than ten years now.
I was an exemplar candidate to start my own blog. So, of course, I didn't.
I mean, I eventually switched my personal/professional site -- Between Borders -- to WordPress (from hand-tooled html) but mostly to make it easier to add material without having to go through and edit dozens of link lists.
But I just kept sending out my 'hey check this out' e-mails.
Now the blogging fad shows signs of reaching its use-by date, I'm finally giving in to fate and jumping on board.
The rest of the world has been spared these distractions for far too long. Why should only those close to me suffer.
